Borax is an uncommon powder that can be mined from depth ores, it has few uses, mainly being used to make
boron and
iron.
Production
There are only two ways to obtain borax: By mining depth ores with explosives or by extraction from bedrock ores.

Trivia
- The most efficient way to produce boron from borax is via the ore acidizer; although both the acidizer and arc furnace yield 3 tiny piles of boron per borax, given that the acidizer can use effectiveness upgrades, and that the recipe to turn borax into boron benefits from a +25% effectiveness per level, the yield of boron from the acidizer is greater.
