Copper (aka industrial grade copper) is a common and widely used metal.

Production

Mineral Deposits

Copper ore generates commonly underground. Copper ore clusters are a more rare version of the ore, which drop copper crystals when mined.

Hematite stratum have a vast amount of hematite, which can be melted into iron ingots.

Uses

Copper is widely used in the production of circuits. It can also be alloyed into Minecraft grade copper, another important material.

Trivia

  • Copper becomes green when exposed to oxygen from oxidation.
    • Copper ore is actually green due to this oxidation.
  • As of Minecraft 1.17, copper, as well as its ore, exists in vanilla Minecraft.
