Tungsten is a semi-common metal element that can be found deep underground. It is glossy black in color. Despite not being able to be used for tools due to it being so heavy and brittle, its immense durability, hardness, temperature, and corrosion resistance make it very useful in a multitude of other applications, including alloys and casings for high-end machine components.
Production
It comes from a semi-common overworld ore that is somewhat deep. It is also found more commonly and conveniently in the Nether.
Uses
It has a multitude of applications, thanks to its properties. Notably areas for heat resistance, electrical resistance, and density.
