From HBM's Nuclear Tech Wiki

WIKI IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

This wiki is for the Minecraft mod, Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod.

CurseForge description:

Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod is, as the name implies, all about technology, atomic science and nuclear weapons. It features an expansive tech tree of various processing and utility machines, craftable bombs and missiles, guns, and abandoned structures to explore. No longer are nukes just green TNT blocks - you will have to synthesize new types of explosives and enrich uranium before you can send nuclear missiles towards your pals.

Modrinth description:

Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod is, as the name implies, all about technology, atomic science and nuclear weapons. Features include, and are not limited to:

  • A large tech tree, with progression spanning over many machines and different types of reactors
  • Nuclear reactors such as the Chicago Pile, the infamous RBMK and fusion reactors (and more!)
  • Nuclear bombs, missiles and artillery
  • Turrets, traps and other defensive systems
  • Processing machines for extracting ores, assembling parts and refining oil
  • Abandoned structures and dungeons to explore
  • Hazards such as radiation, flammable gasses and lung diseases

If you're a beginner to the mod's progression, check out Getting Started.

Compatible Mods

  • Not Enough Items (NEI)
    • Recipe handling which is crucial for the mod to be used in survival. NEI is capable of showing almost all of NTM's recipes.
    • Use of Not Enough Items strongly recommended! There are many recipes that are subject to change, which may not be immediately reflected in this wiki.
  • OpenComputers (OC)
    • OC compatibility has recently been added, allowing monitoring and control over some machines.
  • Other tech mods
    • Most materials are registered in the Forge ore dictionary for compatibility and the mod has power converters for converting to and from Redstone Flux (RF), which is used by many other mods as their power unit.

Contributing

The channels for the wiki's development can be found at #NTM_Wiki and #NTM_Wiki_Extra on the server as well (password protected, check link if you want to manually enter details). We also have a Matrix space for even more secure and private development and will likely be the most convenient for sharing files and assets.

The wiki's internal email is wiki-internal@u-group13.org using the PGP key below (expires 12/31/2025, will be renewed around that time) and I recommend you use PGP too, though it is not a requirement. It may be used for announcements, requesting information, or requesting to become an editor. Editor status requests, be sure to specify your requested username and provide authenticity of yourself. You must be a known contributor or otherwise known to us, such as via Discord, and requests may be rejected at our discretion.

Be advised, the wiki is subject to downages at 5:00 AM UTC for server updates, please make sure any contributions you are in the process of working on are finished well before then!

Please ask if you need SSH access for whatever reason and for how long, but requests may be denied, especially if I do not know who you are. If accepted, I will request your SSH public key (recommended: Ed25519), sign it with the CA, then return the certificate to you valid for the period of time specified. If you have no idea what you just read, you probably don't need SSH access.
