Fullerene is a vibrant magenta powder mainly used in the late-game stage. It is an allotrope of carbon. Fullerenes are structures composed of buckyballs (buckministerballs) and can sometimes be harder than  diamond, explaining why fullerene’s hardness on the Mohs scale is close to diamond’s.

Production

Fullerene is created by processing fullerene solution in the SILEX, with the FEL emitting at least in the visible light spectrum:

Uses

Fullerene is processed in an ore acidizer with BTX to create crystalline fullerite. 4 fullerene with 1,000 mB of BTX yields 1 crystalline fullerite item:

It can also be used as a generic magenta dye for vanilla and modded recipes.

Trivia

  • Fullerene has a hardness of 8 according to the Mohs scale. For reference diamond has a hardness of 10.
  • Fullerene molecules have a spherical shape.
  • There are multiple types of fullerene, they are labeled as Cn where n is the amount of atoms that create the fullerene.
