Nickel is a fairly common metal, found everywhere within the Solar system except for Earth. This means that to acquire it, you must first travel to any other planet or moon. It is required for the production of stainless steel.
Acquisition
As mentioned above, it is available everywhere except Earth. It is possible to produce nickel by depleting cobalt-60 RTG pellets, but this takes over 2 weeks of real-time depletion, making it generally unfeasible.
