Trixite is a unique, extraterrestrial mineral that comes from outer space. It is commonly found in the End, and other rocky bodies found in space.

It appears to be composed of plutonium, cobalt, niobium, nitanium and spark blend.

Production

It can be found in the End or mined with the Asteroid Mining Ship as crystals.

Properties

Studies have shown that this mineral can only exist in crystalline form and any attempts to change its form have been met with failure.

Uses

Trixite is a very durable, yet reactive alloy that is used in very few "exotic" recipes like the Hardened Terra Drill. Its primary use however is to be processed into spark blend using the SILEX.

  • The ore form when centrifuged produces 1 plutonium powder, 2 cobalt powder, 2 niobium powder, and 1 end stone.
  • The ore form when processed in the SILEX produces 9 iterations of: 20% plutonium powder, 30% niobium powder, 30% cobalt powder, and 20% nitanium blend.

Processing the ore form in an ore acidizer with sulfuric acid will produce crystals, which can produce higher quality end products with further processing.

  • The crystallized form can be smelted to produce 4 plutonium ingots.
  • It can also be shredded for 6 plutonium powder, boosting yields by 50%.
  • When processed in the centrifuge, the crystals will produce 2 plutonium powder, 3 cobalt powder, 2 niobium powder, and 1 nitanium blend.
  • The crystals can be processed in the electrolysis machine to produce 3 ingots of molten plutonium, 4 ingots of molten cobalt, 4 niobium powder, and 2 nitanium blend.
  • At peak extraction efficiency, processed in the SILEX, the crystals produce 12 iterations of the following: 20% plutonium powder, 30% niobium powder, 30% cobalt powder, 10% nitanium blend, and 10% spark blend.
