Uranium-235 is a "rare" uranium isotope. As rare things also happen to be the useful ones, U-235 does have its uses over U-238. It is quite infamous for being used in the little boy and other nuclear fission weapons. Despite this, it is also useful in uranium fuel.

Production

Uranium-235 can be produced in a cascade of 4 gas centrifuges with uranium hexafluoride, which will yield 11 nuggets of uranium-238, 4 fluorite and 1 nugget of uranium-235 per 10 operations, keeping in mind that the last gas centrifuge must have the gas centrifuge overclocking upgrade. U-235 can also be produced in a SILEX with uranium powder or depleted uranium fuel. desert atoms also have loot containing U-235.

Uses

  • U-235 can also be used in nuclear warheads, specifically the "gun" type bombs.
  • It can also be used in uranium reactor fuel.
  • U-235 can be bred into Np-237 and then again to get Pu-238. This can be used to produce the radio isotope cell to produce infinite power.
  • It can be used in the custom nuke. It contributes 15 to its nuclear stage.
