Diamonds are a somewhat rare natural resource that can also be produced artificially. It was the ultimate material in vanilla Minecraft for many years, but in NTM, it both has very few meaningful uses and is incredibly easy to produce in bulk with either the bedrock ore processing or through the asteroid mining ship.
Production
It can be mined at deep levels in the Overworld in small veins. Bedrock ore processing allows for considerable extraction that conventional mining would not allow.
