Centrifuge

The centrifuge is the next tier of ore processing after the shredder, useful for refining ores and crystals, it used to also process spent reactor fuel, a role that is now instead provided by the PUREX. It has two upgrade slots for improving speed and power efficiency, or applying overdrive.

This machine will draw of power during operation, taking 10 seconds to complete one operation. It has a power buffer of 100kHE.

This machine only processes solids. For the centrifuge that processes fluids, see the Gas Centrifuge.

Crafting

Centrifuges are produced in an assembly machine using materials and parts available after oil refining is achieved.

Uses

The centrifuge is used to process raw ores and minerals, yielding more product than the shredder. It is also useful as an early source of mercury for desh production by centrifuging redstone.
