The Combination Oven is a unique type of furnace that utilizes heat exchange in order to transform items into their respective product and produce liquid byproducts.
Crafting
The Combination Oven is crafted in an Anvil with the following recipe:
Usage
The Combination Oven is used to burn / coke materials, like – for example – sawdust briquettes. If you put the briquettes in the oven, it will start producing Charcoal and Wood Oil as a byproduct. Certain fluid byproducts can be utilized to create a self-sufficient setup with the use of a fluid burner piped to the oven's output. Common fuel outputs include Wood Oil and Coal Tar Creosote.
The Combination Oven requires a heat source from below similar to how the Crucible and Stirling Engine operate, this heat source can be either a Firebox/Heating Oven, an Electric Heater, or a Fluid Burner. It is recommended that you use the Heating Oven over the Firebox due to its faster heat production and larger heat buffer, allowing the Combination Oven to run faster, and without interruption. While the Combination Oven is operational, it will produce a column of fire at the top of itself, lighting anything within a 2x3x3 area on fire. The embers thrown around during operation do not set flammable blocks on fire.
