Fractioning Tower is a machine added by Nuclear Tech Mod used in all stages of oil processing.
Description
The fractioning tower is used in oil processing. It is the next step after refining all types of crude oil, including:
- Heavy Oil Processing
- Light Oil Processing
- Naphtha Processing
- Industrial Oil Processing
To select the recipe, right-click the bottom-most fractioning tower block with the fluid identifier of the fluid you wish to process.
Stacking
Several fractioning towers can be stacked atop one another to speed up processing. Vertically stacked fractioning towers will push the input fluid up the stack while allowing the output fractions to flow downwards. With this in mind your pipelines must be connected to the bottom of the stack to maximize throughput.
Fractioning tower separators are a decorative block that allow you to separate vertically stacked fractioning towers in an aesthetic manner.
