Groundwater Pump

From HBM's Nuclear Tech Wiki

Groundwater pumps are pseudo-multiblocks that use steam or electricity to produce water infinitely, and are essentially enhanced infinite water tanks. They both have an equal footprint of 3x3x4 blocks.

Both types of pumps require a 3x3 cube of dirt directly beneath them and be below Y:70, otherwise they won't work.

Types

A steam-powered groundwater pump.

Steam-Powered

The steam-powered groundwater pump is an early-game pump that uses steam to pump water, the steam can be used in a closed loop as the pump outputs low-pressure steam. It can output up to 1,000 mB/t of water and it has an internal buffer of 100,000 mB of water, 1,000 mB of steam, and 10 mB of low-pressure steam.

Recipe

It can be made in a tier 2 anvil with the following recipe:

Electric

The electric groundwater pump is a more advanced version of the steam-powered pump that uses electricity to pump water. It can produce up to 10,000 mB/t of water and it has an internal buffer of 10,000 HE and 1,000,000 mB of water.

Recipe

It can be made in a tier 3 anvil with the following recipe:

Troubleshooting

No Valid Ground

Invalid terrain underneath it. Ensure that the groundwater pump has at minimum a 3x3 cube of dirt underneath it.

Altitude

Invalid altitude. Ensure that the groundwater pump is below Y:70.
