The Blast Furnace is a coal fuel-powered furnace used to create different alloys out of two inputs. It was formerly known as the alloy furnace.
Crafting
The blast furnace can be crafted in an anvil with the following recipe:

Usage
The blast furnace takes two compatible items in the top and bottom slots (order does not matter) and can be powered by either coal or coke.
It can accept materials in ingot/solid or powder form: however, it is more fuel-efficient to combine powders inside a crafting grid beforehand, and smelt the alloyed powder some other way.
Also, it can have hot air blast input into it to increase the speed up to a 500%.
Every operation will also generate 100mb of flue gas, which can be burned with a flare stack to generate a bit of power.
