The Industrial Steam Turbine is a pseudo-multiblock machine that is used to generate electricity from steam. It has a variable fluid buffer and processing rate for steam, always maintaining a 1:1 ratio of industrial steam turbines for each density type. It has a ramp up period when first starting up and a decay period when shutting down.

Usage

It is the only turbine with 100% conversion efficiency, making it the most efficient turbine in game.

The processing rate follows simple multiples of 10 starting from 150 mB/t of ultra dense steam and ending at 150,000 mB/t of regular steam.

The power production rate of the individual stages are as follows:

  • 150 mB/t of ultra dense steam provides 18 kHE/t
  • 1,500 mB/t of super dense steam provides 27 kHE/t
  • 15,000 mB/t of dense steam provides 30 kHE/t
  • 150,000 mB/t of steam provides 300 kHE/t

One line of industrial steam turbines is in total capable of producing 375 kHE/t or 7.5 MHE/s and will output 1,500 mB/t of low-pressure steam
