Assembly Machine
The assembly machine (also referred to as the assembler) is a 3x3 pseudo-multiblock machine that is used in every stage of the game, with it being used to manufacture practically every other complex machine. The assembly machine selects a recipe to designate the item it will produce, it will then assemble the product within a specified period of time indicated on the recipe.

It is made with a tier 2 anvil and higher from components that do not require an assembly machine:

Usage
The GUI of the assembly machine can be accessed by right clicking it. It takes in materials and fluids from one of the ports on it and pushes out finished products from another port. The four points on both sides of the machine are power inputs which in total consume 2kHE/s.
Recipes can be selected using the button with the template folder on it. When selected, it will show a preview of the items needed to complete the recipe. Some recipes require blueprints to be inserted in the blueprint slot in order to complete them, those being:
- Gerald the Construction Android
- Radiation-Powered Engine
- All plates
- Soyuz-FG
- Orbital Module
- .50 BMG Round (Starmetal)
Blueprints can be made using blueprint booklets that are found in structures around the world, using one will create a random blueprint.
Despite the fact that the assembly machine can create wires and plates, it is not recommended to use it for this purpose due to the fact that it produces fewer wires and plates compared to the equivalent press recipe. As well as this, there are certain recipes for the assembly machine which have exact equivalents on the anvil, such as various upgrades and more efficient wire or plate recipes.
