Compressor
The Compressor is a specialized 3x9x4 multiblock machine that is able to compress liquids and/or gases, which is measured in pressure units (PU). It can perform this operation on any fluid to increase its pressure, for use in other machines. Some of these fluids are compressed into different fluids entirely as special recipes for this machine.
It is most commonly used in conjunction with the vacuum refinery.
By default each operation takes 5 seconds and consumes 2.5 kHE/t.

Uses
The compressor has multiple applications, including but not limited to:
- Compressing crude oil (2PU) to be used in a vacuum refinery.
- Requires two compressors.
- Compressing air to be used in pneumatic tubes.
- Required pressure depends on the length of the pneumatic tube.
- Compressing perfluoromethyl (1PU) to cold perfluoromethyl.
- Compressing petroleum gas (1PU) to liquid petroleum gas.
- Compressing blood (3PU) to heavy oil.
Compact Compressor
The Compact Compressor is a 3x3x7 multiblock machine with the exact same functionality as the compressor, but with reduced size, making it useful for smaller spaces where multiple compressors need to fit, as they can be put on top of each other. It also has it's own recipe:
Besides the recipe and form factor, the two compressors are identical in operation.
