Pre-emption
What version of Nuclear Tech Mod should I play?
The only up to date versions of NTM are:
- Hbm's Nuclear Tech Mod (1.7.10)
- NTM: Space (1.7.10)
- NTM: Community Edition (1.12.2)
Extended Edition and Reloaded (both for 1.12.2) are extremely outdated and unmaintained.
Is there a good NTM modpack that I can play?
- Nuclear Tech: Integrated.
- Space Tech: Integrated, which features NTM: Space.
Both modpacks are actively maintained, and have a quest book, backported features, and more realistic terrain generation.
What other mods should I use with NTM?

Updated Features
I can't make .
As of release 1.0.27_X5719, Advanced Alloy has been removed from the mod. The uncraftable tools and armor is still in the mod, for now.
Why do my machines tilt and collapse into the ground?
As of release 1.0.27_X5714, some machines will now tilt if they are not placed on proper foundation like concrete or stone.
Why do my battery sockets explode?
As of release 1.0.27_X5685, self-chargers in battery sockets can now cause explosions and produce unreliable power output which constantly fluctuates.
Why can't I remove fuel rods manually from my RBMK?
As of release 1.0.27_X5628:
- RBMK fuel rods can no longer be removed by hand if the skin temp exceeds 200°C.
- RBMK fuel rods can no longer be cycled via autoloader if the skin temp exceeds 1,000°C.
- RBMK fuel channels will now undergo meltdown if it is broken when a fuel rod is still loaded with a heat temperature of at least 1,500°C.
Why can't I make energy storage blocks anymore?
As of release 1.0.27_X5567, the old energy storage blocks have been replaced with the new batteries and capacitors.
Fluids
I have fluids stuck in a machine input that I want to recover! How do I take out these fluids?
Right-click a machine with siphon. Fluids in the machine's input tanks will fill any fluid barrels, universal tanks or pipettes in your inventory. Machines with a GUI will need to be sneak-interacted with to siphon.
How do I get rid of unwanted fluids/gases?
Connect a with fluid ducts to the machine or the fluid container with the unwanted fluid.

How do I store large amounts of items?
