Radioactive materials

The reacher can (and should) be used to handle radioactive materials as it reduces the dose of radiation emitted by individual materials down to ${\sqrt {\mathrm {rad} +{\frac {1}{\left(\mathrm {rad} +2\right)^{2}}}}}-{\frac {1}{\mathrm {rad} +2}}$, or around the square root of the original material, meaning it is more effective the bigger the original value is.

Pyrophoric materials

The reacher will nullify the burning effect of all pyrophoric items in the inventory, allowing for safer handling and transportation.
