Mass Storage Unit

From HBM's Nuclear Tech Wiki
Tier 2 mass storage units, the rest have the same texture with changed colors.

There are four types of Mass Storage Units in the mod. They all serve the same purpose, that is, storing a large amount of a singular item in a single block. The block will retain the items inside in it when broken, just like crates.

Crafting

Tier 1

The first tier of mass storage unit can store 100 items, thus not being that helpful considering a chest can store many times more, it is however cheap to make, needing only an iron plate and some wooden planks.

Usage

The UI of the mass storage unit

Place an item in the middle slot of the GUI to set the type of storage (this item is not consumed), Items can then be placed into the top slot, shift clicked from the inventory, or inserted via automation to be stored into the unit. The two buttons underneath the type slot are for extracting items. Extracting items can be done either individually with the button on the left, dropping one item into the bottom slot. Or by activating the right button, which will attempt to always keep the bottom slot filled. Automation can only extract from the bottom slot, and only when it has items in it.
