Expensive Mode

Expensive Mode is a config-enabled setting that makes the game harder by replacing some crafting items in certain machines with new, more expensive ones that are unique to the mode. This game mode is a constituent of 328 mode, which is a combination of 528 mode, expensive mode, and rampant mode.

Expensive mode has a total of 10 crafting items which are generally used to replace others when making machines in an  assembly machine or a  plasma forge:

Radiation Resistant Plating	2 8 2 32 1,000mB	Used in machines that involve radiation (such as the PWR), in which case it replaces  lead and/or  boron.
Reinforced Ferrouranium Panels	3 4 44 1,000mB	Used in a variety of machines.
Mainframe	3 4 4 8 2,000mB	Used as a circuit in a variety of post-bismuth machines, sometimes alongside  versatile circuit boards or  quantum processing units.
Bronze Structural Elements	3 44 4,000mB 4,000mB	In the  assembly machine, they are used for oil 3 machines and the  pyrolysis oven. In the  plasma forge, they are used for most ICF parts, the  FEnSU, and  Gerald.
Plastic Panels	44 1616 8 1,000mB	Replaces  hard plastic or  PVC bars in a few machines.
Ultra Fine Gold Dust	64 64	Its only use is to produce degenerate matter.
Degenerate Matter	10000	Its only use is to replace  ferric schrabidate in the production of  dineutronium.
