Ivy Mike
Peace won't come to us, Doctor. We must go towards peace.
Ivy Mike is a thermonuclear (hydrogen) bomb with the second highest blast radius in Nuclear Tech Mod, second only to the Tsar Bomba, with an effective blast radius of 250 blocks.
Background
It was detonated at 7:15 p.m. on October 31 (world time). It produced 10.4 megatons, a force roughly 650 times greater than that of the weapons developed by Robert Oppenheimer during World War II. Along with the Ivy King nuclear test (0.5 Mt), it was part of Operation Ivy.
As it is a thermonuclear device, it is a two-stage device consisting of the fission and fusion stage. The device will still operate without the fusion stage, however, it will effectively just be a more expensive Fat Man without it.
Crafting
The Ivy Mike itself is crafted in an assembly machine from the following recipe:
Fission Components
To arm the device for fission, you'll require 4 bundles of implosion propellant:
And a plutonium core, assembled like so:
Fusion Components
To achieve full fusion and vastly improve the yield, you'll need to construct three more parts. A uranium coated deuterium tank, assembled as follows:

Use
To construct and arm the bomb, place the Ivy Mike down in your intended target zone. Then, place the required items in the matching slots, as shown in the diagram to the right. Once you've constructed the bomb, a detonator can be used to trigger the bomb. Make sure you're at a safe distance before detonating!
