Rocket Transporter Pad (NTM: Space)

From HBM's Nuclear Tech Wiki

Rocket transporter pads are the premier item transport solution between planets within the Solar System in NTM: Space. Instead of requiring the incredibly expensive N-MASS(II) fuel, it can transport items between planets with only hydrogen and oxygen, which can be produced from just water.

Crafting

Rocket transporter pads are assembled two at a time in an assembly machine with the following recipe:

Avionics Unit
Rocket Transporter Pad2

Linking pads together requires the crafting of a transporter pad linker, which is crafted in a crafting table with the following recipe:

Cathode Ray Tube
Integrated Circuit Board
Aluminium Plate
Transporter Pad Linker

Operation

A transporter pad linker ready to connect two pads together

Linking

Before a transporter pad can operate, it must be linked to another pad using a transporter pad linker. After placing and naming a transporter pad, a player must sneak-interact with the transporter pad while holding a transporter pad linker to save it to the linker, then interact with a second pad to open the pad selection menu, which will list all saved unlinked pads. Linking a pad will remove it from the list, but it will still be saved, so if the pad becomes unlinked for any reason, it'll return to the list automatically.

The sender pad, setup to only send once the buffers fill to x32 or more

Sending

Items and fluids can be inserted into and extracted from the pad at any point on its circumference, which will fill buffers ready for transport. The slider in the GUI of the transporter pad can be used to specify the sending threshold; If the threshold is set to, say x32, then the transporter will not attempt sending until either the item buffers have 32 or more items, or the fluid buffers have 32,000mB or more fluid in them, or a combination of the two.

The pad will also fail to send anything if the fuel buffers aren't sufficiently filled, based on the dV requirement between two bodies and the mass to be sent.
