Ammonia () is a toxic gas produced from nitrogen and water. Ammonia can be used to produce hydrazine, nitric acid, dicyanoacetylene, blood fuel, and is famously known to be the key for the mass-production of
industrial fertilizers using
ammonium nitrate.

Trivia
- The nitrogen and water recipe for ammonia is most likely based on the "Haber-Bosch process", which converts atmospheric nitrogen () to ammonia () by a reaction with hydrogen () using finely divided iron metal as catalyst:
- The mass production of fertilizers using ammonia being possible is accurate to how in real life most ammonia produced is solely uesd for fertilizers.
In the manga Dr. STONE, we can see a Haber-Bosch plant in the American Colony that uses ammonia to produce nitric acid in addition with sulfur and coal to produce infinite gunpowder and ammo.
