The Digamma Particle is a mysterious and anomalous endgame particle produced in the particle accelerator. The particle gives the player 333.3 mDRX/s when it's in the inventory. It is a dangerous drop item and will form a giant black hole if dropped.

Its only direct use is to make Digamma fuel for the RBMK. Don't let it melt down.

Trivia

• The tooltip of the item states the particle's half-life is $1.67\cdot 10^{34}a$.
  • Assuming the "a" is a unit of time (Latin "anno", meaning "year"), the half-life is 16,700,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years. In words this is: sixteen decillion and seven hundred nonillion years.
    • This is also the same half-life that is predicted for the proton.
    • It is also approximately $1.2\cdot 10^{24}$ or ~1,200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (one septillion two hundred sextillion) times longer than the current estimated age of the entire universe, give or take a few nonillion years.
• The tooltip note saying "Player Half-Life: 3.0s" refers to Digamma radiation's effect of reducing max HP and it correlates to the DRX emission rate.
• In "lore", it is said that if the particle decays, it will trigger vacuum decay.
  • Given the extreme half-life, the chance of this happening while the universe still exists is virtually nonexistent.
• The particle is likely based on the 750 GeV diphoton excess anomaly, in which the now refuted Ϝ particle was theorized as the possible cause.
