Neodymium is a rare earth metal which is mostly used with other rare earth elements for several recipes, such as 
desh blend and 
nitanium blend. It can be made in a cyclotron or from bedrock ore. It can also be found as a depth ore in the Nether.
Production
Neodymium's bedrock ore fragments can be obtained from 
centrifuging rare earth bedrock ore, washed dissolved byproduct treated with 
solvent will produce three and treated with 
high-performance solvent will produce five.
Neodymium powder can also be obtained by bombarding copper with strontium or beryllium with cerium in a cyclotron.

- Making the

Trivia
In real life, elemental neodymium alone is not very magnetic, it needs to be alloyed with other metals to form the strong magnets it's known for.
