Lava is a liquid in Minecraft, added as a viscous liquid in the mod. It can be made infinitely from liquefying blocks. Buckets of lava can be used as fuel source in most machines that burn solid fuel, which return an empty bucket.

- Or, more commonly, obtained naturally in lava lakes or caves in the overworld, or abundantly in the Nether lava oceans.
Uses
- Much like in vanilla Minecraft, buckets of lava can be used to produce heat. The following machines can utilize lava as a fuel source:
- Buckets of lava are particularly useful in blast furnaces as a single bucket will completely fill the heat buffer.
