Drones
Drones are entities that transport both items and fluids across large distances. They do not require electricity or fuel to run, and operate indefinitely.
Transport Drones

Transport drones are the most basic variety of drone; they can hold both items and fluids, and constantly follow their route of waypoints, loading and unloading in crates when possible. There are 2 types of drones:
- Transport drones (7.5 block/s)
- Express transport drones (22.5 block/s)
There are also chunkloading varieties, which as its name would suggest, loads the chunks in its route.
Drones are made in a crafting table like so:
| Drone Type | Recipe |
|---|---|
| Transport Drone | |
| Express Transport Drone | |
| Chunkloading Transport Drone | |
| Chunkloading Express Transport Drone |
Their route has to be set manually using the transport drone linker, it can set an initial position and path with RMB and the position can be cleared with shift + RMB; it is crafted as follows:
It is also worth mentioning that holding any drone-related items (such as the linker) will make nearby routes visible.
Transport Drone Crates

Transport drone crates are blocks that give transport drones items and fluids; they have 18 slots and a fluid buffer of 64,000 mB. Its GUI has 2 buttons that set up:
- If it loads/unloads solids or liquids;
- If drones load or unload from it.
Crates can be used alongside conveyor belts and fluid ducts to load/unload it.
They are crafted as follows:
Transport Drone Waypoints
Waypoints are torch-like blocks that simply serve to alter the path of a drone (commonly to avoid obstacles, reduce clutter, etc). If an unrelated waypoint coincides with a drone's path, the drone will follow that waypoint's path instead; which means that waypoints must be far apart from each other to avoid this.
The height of the drone at that waypoint can be configured by right-clicking or shift-clicking the waypoint.
They can be crafted as follows:
Logistics Drones
Logistics drones are another type of drone that can only carry items, however networks are made automatically and are more straightforward to set up. The drones themselves cannot be placed on top of crates, but rather they must be placed inside of a logistics drone dock (which can hold up to 9 drones at a time). They are as fast as regular transport drones (7.5 block/s) and they can detect crates in a radius of 5 chunks.
The crates themselves are very straightforward to use: the logistics provider crate provides items to the logistics network; and the logistics requester crate requests items set in its filter from the logistics network. When a drone detects items in a provider crate, it will leave its dock to pick them up and deliver them to a requester crate that requests them, it will then return to its dock and store itself inside.
Like transport drones, logistics drone waypoints exist, which are used to extend the drone's reach or move it out of obstacles.
All items related to logistics drones are made with a crafting table as follows:
| Item | Recipe |
|---|---|
| Logistics Drone | |
| Logistics Drone Dock | |
| Logistics Drone Waypoint | |
| Logistics Provider Crate | |
| Logistics Requester Crate |
