The reaction catalyst is an endgame item used to supposedly contain, sustain, and add color to the core of the DFC. It can be inferred they increase the rate of dark fusion due to the existence of additive catalyst matrices.

Production

Reaction catalysts are produced with four catalyst matrices of different types (depending on the catalyst itself), a blank reaction catalyst, and the powder of the base material. The Blank Reaction Catalyst is made with late to endgame materials including euphemium and tennessine.

The four catalyst matrices can either be the following:

  • Cool Catalyst Matrix
  • Additive Catalyst Matrix
  • Balanced Catalyst Matrix
  • Multiplicative Catalyst Matrix
  • Rough Catalyst Matrix

Uses

The reaction catalyst is used within the core of the DFC. The GUI has two input slots next to the main core, where the catalysts are placed in. Without the reaction catalysts, the reactor cannot function. Other than this, reaction catalysts serve no purpose.
