This page describes a feature that has been completely removed. It is only documented for archival purposes. Removal reason: Bad feature |

The industrial generator was a 6 x 3 x 2 multiblock machine. It replaced the first and second iterations in version 1.0.27X4074. It was by far the best iteration of the industrial generator, being able to process 3 fuel types simultaneously, which are RTG pellets, solid combustion fuel, and liquid fuel. Ideally, you would fill the industrial generator with water (a regular infinite water barrel will do the trick) to make steam from the heat it generates for better efficiency, the industrial generator could've held 16,000mB. It had an internal power storage of 1 MHE. Despite this it was eventually removed. It was neither overpowered like the first iteration nor underpowered like the second, it still didn't find a place in the lineup of power generators. As it was a jack of all trades, master of none, generators dedicated to each of its fuel types would outmatch it in efficiency, especially considering it needs water and lubricant to reach its own maximum efficiency.
RTG Section
This section produced by far the least power from both of the other sections, mainly because RTG pellets usually take a very long time to decay and can be configured to not decay, so it would be very prone to abuse. You could've used any RTG pellet to power this section, but its power level was divided by 10 when calculating total heat. This means that a plain RT Generator will make over 10x the power using the same pellets, even when using water and lubricant.
Combustion Section
You could've used anything that can power a normal furnace. This created average amounts of power between the two sections, each slot contributes 75 heat when burning something.
Liquid Fuel Section
The most powerful section since it can burn any liquid fuel, from the default heating oil to NITAN© 100 Octane Super Fuel. It has an internal buffer of 16,000mB. However, it was not a combustion engine, so such fuels would not be burning at optimal efficiency.
Lubricant
Increases power output, by ~34%, small buffer of 4,000mb.
Trivia
- This was the third iteration of the concept.
