The drive processor chip (known in game as drive processor, not to be confused with the machine of the same name) is an item that is a requirement to use the Drive Processor.
Crafting
There are three tiers of the drive processor chip, each crafted in the vacuum solderer as follows:

Usage
To use the drive processor chip, insert it into the drive processor and then operate the machine.
