Obtainment
The Brittle Spade is essential as it is the only way for getting the crafting elements for the Metastable U238 Ingot in NTM. You can obtain the Brittle Spade through two primary methods: One method is to find a Red Crate in a Meteorite Dungeon and right-click it with a "Mk.V Crate Opening Device". Which will give you a brittle spade. Alternatively, you can obtain it using a Book of Boxcars (Black Book) as shown in the image below.
Usage
The Brittle Spade is used solely to obtain the elements needed for Metastable U238 Ingot (ARSENIC ELEMENTS VAULT). Combining these in a Book of Boxcars (Black Book) Will get you Metastable U238 Ingot.
