Note: Effectively replaced by the Large Mining Drill.
The Automatic Mining Drill is a machine that acts like other mods' quarries, digging below it.
The main advantage of the Automatic Mining Drill is that, when stumbling upon an Ore Cluster of any type, it will mine it, recieve the respective Crystal, but the Ore Cluster itself will not break immediately, meaning that the Drill will mine the same Cluster again, recieving another Crystal, and so on. This goes on until the Ore Cluster finally breaks eventually. Every time the Drill mines the Cluster, there is a 3% Chance that it will break. This means that on average, every Ore Cluster should yield about Half a Stack (32) of Crystals instead of just one.
Needs power.
Usage
It only needs power to function, it will dig down in a 3x3 radius (expandable with upgrades) and store all blocks within its small internal storage, putting a chest next to the output port is highly recommended.
Notes
Accepts Blue (energy saving), Red (speed), and Green (drill radius) upgrades.
When the internal (and external) buffers a full, the drill will stop functioning. However, it will still make sound and the status icon will be green.
When the aforementioned event occurs or when its drill reaches maximum extension and stops working, it will still consume power. Keep an eye on it.
