The spaceship is a crashed space vehicle that contains quite a lot of loot.
Where to find
They are pretty common and found in every biome.
Dangers
Whatever you do, don't drop an antischrabidium cell!
Loot
There are 5 loot chests (4 of which being double chests) and lots of useful blocks
Chests
The two double chests contain expensive loot such as various storage cells, superconductors, reactor parts, some machines, and tungsten.
The other chest at the front contains more weapon related loot.
Blocks
As for blocks, the spaceship contains reinforced materials, superconducting magnets, 2 breeding reactors, 2 old nuclear reactors (far inferior to the new one), nuclear/fusion reactor components, 2 meteor blocks, energy storage blocks, red copper wire, and some steel and tungsten deco blocks.
Refurbishing
If you decide not to loot it for its fusion reactor components, you may decide to refurbish it somehow. While the spaceship is non-functional, you can attempt to repair it to make it more lively as a living space or base. The majority of the structure is intact and undamaged, with the main exception of the back being (presumably) blown off.
Trivia
- The structure is very old and hasn't been updated in a long time. Which is why it still uses the old nuclear reactor and (presumably) why it still uses the default lead-acid energy storage block.
- Either that or it's to prevent new players from acquiring mid-late game energy storage blocks like Lithium-Ion or Schrabidium in very early game.
