Schraranium is essentially schrabidium coated uranium. By itself, it has no uses, it's only an intermediary step to obtain schrabidium. You can make it into a block form if you really want.
Production
Schraranium is produced by transmuting uranium in a schrabidium transmutation device. This process will consume 5 MHE per schraranium ingot produced.
It is also produced with an exposure chamber using a Higgs Boson particle and natural uranium. However, this is highly inefficient, since you can directly produce schrabidium using an exposure chamber by simply using U-238 instead.
Uses
Ranking from least to most efficient in schrabidium extraction and uranium recycling:
- Smelting
- Produces only 1 schrabidium nugget and cannot recycle uranium.
- Centrifuging
- Most efficient for mid-game.
- 3 schrabidium nuggets, 3 Uranium for recycling, and 2 plutonium nuggets as a byproduct.
- Crystallizing then centrifuging
- Increases efficiency.
- One less uranium nugget for recycling but one more schrabidium nugget.
- Crystallizing then SILEX
- Higher chance of producing schrabidium, but is susceptible to bad luck in the short term.
