Radiation absorbers are powerless blocks that absorb any radiation present in a chunk with varying levels of speed.
Obtention
The four absorbers can be made in a crafting table. You can create the next tier by 'upgrading' the previous one using four ingots and four powders in a crafting grid.
- Basic is crafted with 4 Industrial Grade Copper, 4 Coal Powder and 1 Lead Powder
- Enhanced is crafted with 4 Titanium Ingots, 4 Coal Powder and 1 Radiation Absorber
- Advanced is crafted with 4 Polymer Bars, 4 Desh Blend and 1 Enhanced Radiation Absorber
- Elite is crafted with 4 Saturnite Ingots, 4 Nitanium Blend and 1 Advanced Radiation Absorber
Absorption rates
The four types absorb radiation at different rates, with the Elite being the most efficient and the Basic being the least.
- Basic: Removes 5 chunk rad / second
- Enhanced: Removes 20 chunk rad / second
- Advanced: Removes 200 chunk rad / second
- Elite: Removes 20,000 chunk rad / second
