Plasma Heater

From HBM's Nuclear Tech Wiki
The plasma heater.

The plasma heater is a necessary component for the fusion reactor as it produces the plasma it uses for fuel. It consumes a lot of power.

Usage

Main article: Fusion Reactor

The plasma heater can produce the following plasmas for the fusion reactor:

Deuterium - Tritium

The default plasma, which has a temperature of 3,500℃ (~6,332℉).

Deuterium - Hydrogen

A cooler plasma, it is only 2,500℃ (~4,532℉).

Tritium - Hydrogen

Another cooler plasma, but slightly hotter than deuterium-hydrogen. It has a temperature of 3,000℃ (~5,432℉).

Deuterium - Helium-3

A warmer plasma, but still colder than deuterium - tritium. It has a temperature of 3,480C (~6,296F)

Helium-4 - Oxygen

The second hottest plasma, it has a temperature of 4,250C (~7,682F)

Balefire (Antimatter - BF Rocket Fuel)

The most expensive and the hottest plasma, having a temperature of 8,500℃ (~15,332℉).
