Lab (structure)

Description
The lab is a small, mostly white colored building, which can be found in the plains biome. The top building is made out of uberconcrete and stone bricks, while the bunker beneath it is made out of dense stone and the floor is made out of lab tiles.
Underground below the lab structure, there is a small bunker with some shelves containing 3 hazmat crates, 1 supply crate, several recorders (placed on the shelves), and 2 iron crates with radiation related items such as reachers and various nuclear materials.
Other
There is a dud that broke through the roof, hinting that these labs were targeted in the nuclear war.Why they would do such a thing is unknown, but it might be because of the amount of nuclear materials there are inside the crates.
Loot
A vitrified Nuclear Waste Barrel on one of the shelves, and items found inside of the iron crates which as explained above is usually just radiation-related items like nuclear fuel, billets, ingots and rods of other nuclear materials.

Dangers
The Vitrified Nuclear Waste Barrel in the bunker gives off a bit of radiation.
The Dud in the center of the lab has a chance to explode if you use the Magnetic Extractor on it.
Some of the lab tiles are cracked, meaning they will give off asbestos particles.
Refurbishing
It is possible to refurbish the lab, and it would benefit the player. But there are better options, such as the factory, or even a bunker. If you stumble across one of these early-game, it would be worth it to try and renovate it. The concrete walls will turn into mold, so I suggest replacing the walls. All you have to do is remove the bomb, replace the tiles and fix all the broken blocks. You could also add a few more floors, and there you have it. A base. But if you find a factory, immediately move out.
