This page describes a feature that has been completely removed. It is only documented for archival purposes. Removal reason: Bad feature |
The factory was basically a large furnace with a queue. Despite that sounding interesting, they were very buggy, had little purpose to be used even at the time, and were eventually outmatched by superior machines and features.
Basic Factory
Required a Basic Factory Energy Cluster to serve as an energy buffer/battery, even if powered by external means.
Can smelt two different inputs at the same time.
Usage
Functions identically to a furnace fundamentally.
Advanced Factory
Requires an Advanced Factory Energy Cluster to serve as an energy buffer/battery, even if powered by external means.
Can smelt four different inputs at the same time.
Usage
Same as the previous.
Trivia
- Their sound is actually just the vanilla Minecraft minecart slowed down. It was incredibly annoying to hear all the time.
- The "factory" name is a misnomer since they were just big electric furnaces.
