Ethanol (also called ethyl alcohol, grain alcohol, drinking alcohol, or simply alcohol) is a organic compound with the chemical formula CH3CH2OH. Ethanol is a volatile, flammable, colorless liquid with a characteristic wine-like odor and pungent taste. In the mod, it doesn't have many important uses, therefore isn't that useful for progression.
Ethanol Production
- You can make Ethanol using 3 different machines: the Chemical Plant, the Industrial Liquefaction Machine and the Combination Furnace.
- Firstly, in the Chemical Plant, with the template:
- Chemistry Template: Ethanol Production (2.5 seconds to produce)
- 10 Sugar > 1000mB Ethanol
- Secondly, in the Industrial Liquefaction Machine, with 3 different ways of making Ethanol:
- 1 Hemp > 150mB Ethanol
- 1 Sugar > 100mB Ethanol
- 1 Mustard Willow > 50mB Ethanol
- And lastly, with the Combination Furnace:
- 1 Sugar Cane > 2 Sugar + 50mB Ethanol
Ethanol Uses
- You can use Ethanol in a Chemical Plant and a Industrial Mixer.
- In the Chemical Plant, with the template:
- Chemistry Template: Biofuel Transesterification (3.0 seconds to produce)
- And in the Industrial Mixer:
- 200mB Ethanol + 800mB Fish Oil > 1000mB Engine Lubricant
- 200mB Ethanol + 800mB Sunflower Seed Oil > 1000mB Engine Lubricant
