Dosimeter

The dosimeter is a less powerful version of the Geiger Counter. While it is cheaper to manufacture, it has a scope limited to 3.6 RAD/s. It is used to measure ambient radiation.

The dosimeter is crafted in a crafting table with the following recipe:

Function

The dosimeter, like the Geiger Counter, will click whenever it detects radiation, however, unlike the latter, it won't show a bar on the screen to represent the radiation levels.

When right clicked, it will print the readings to the game chat.

Trivia

• Not great, not terrible.
• Likely based off the КДГ-1 (KDG-1) dosimeter, used during the Chernobyl disaster. It is therefore not recommended to use it unless you want to gaslight yourself into believing that radiation levels are lower than what they actually are.
