The various doors are decoration blocks that complement several different styles of structure, including factories, bunkers, and laboratories.
All doors can be opened by hand, and can be toggled with a redstone pulse, whereas vanilla has redstone directly controlling their on/off state. In addition to redstone, both the Vertical Sliding and Vault-Tec blast door can be toggled remotely with a detonator.
With the exception of the vertical sliding door, all doors can be locked with a padlock, disabling their redstone functionality, and making them require keys to open.
