Crafting

The custom nuke is crafted with the assembly machine with the following materials:

  • 1 Small Steel Grid Fins
  • 12 Gold wires
  • 4 Gray dye

Stages

  • TNT - The first stage which is necessary for later stages. This stage can accept any material that increases or multiplies the custom nuke TNT stage, such as gunpowder, redstone, TNT, explosive charges, etc. At TNT level 75 and above, it creates a mushroom cloud upon detonating but will not create any radiation.
  • Nuclear (requires at least TNT level 16) - Can take most radioisotopes and radioactive elements. Uranium-235, Neptunium, and Plutonium-239 are examples of what could be used.
  • Hydrogen/Thermonuclear (requires at least nuclear level 100) - Greatly increases yield and fallout. This stage can take Deuterium and Tritium cells, as well as Lithium and Tritium-Deuterium cakes. Having the hydrogen/thermonuclear stage reduces the effects of the salted stage by 75%.
  • Salted (requires the nuclear stage) - Increases radiation caused by the nuclear and hydrogen/thermonuclear stages. The salted stage accepts generic nuclear waste and tungsten to mention a few items.
  • Antimatter (also known as balefire, requires at least nuclear level 50) - The antimatter stage turns the custom nuke into a balefire bomb, which can be used in Euphemium production much like a dud. The antimatter stage accepts antimatter cells, balefire shards, and balefire eggs.
  • Schrabidium (requires at least nuclear level 50) - Creates a Fölkvanger field which ignores blast resistance and leaves behind no radiation. The Schrabidium stage takes any Schrabidium item, including Antischrabidium.
  • Anti-mass (requires the Schrabidium stage) - The final stage of a custom nuke. This stage takes Euphemium nuggets and Euphemium ingots. As both have the same effect, nuggets are preferred. Upon detonating, around 100 negative energy rays are shot out of the bomb in random directions all at once which delete anything in their path. The range of one of these rays is around 80 blocks, depending on its speed which is also random just like the direction.

Notes

  • Stages determined by prior stages get stronger/more efficient the more powerful the previous stage is. Examples:
    • A better TNT stage results in a higher nuclear efficiency therefore yield.
    • A better nuclear stage increases the effects of a thermonuclear stage.
  • This bomb is among the strongest in the entire mod when it is used to its fullest potential.
  • There exists a "custom drop upgrade" which causes the bomb to become an entity and drop to the ground when detonated. This could be utilized on plane structures or even a custom nuke cannon, which works much like the classic TNT cannon.
